It seems like we have been so busy since school has started back up again! Addison is doing great and took 2 steps on her own this weekend! I know it will be a matter of time! She has taken a lot of falls in all her walking practice and seems to constantly have a bruise somewhere on her head, poor girl!

I can't believe 1 is just around the corner! This month has been another busy month for Addison. She is babbling a lot and saying the "d", "b", "l" and "y" sounds a lot. (Seems to have forgotten how to say "mama," but oh well!) She is starting to wave bye-bye and pointing. She is standing for a few seconds on her own and is cruising around the furniture. She has figured out how to open drawers and cabinets, leading us to have a massive baby-proofing session this past weekend! She eats just about anything and is preferring finger foods now more than baby foods. Tonight she ate: turkey/vegetable baby food, a hard-boiled egg yolk, cooked zucchini and cooked carrots. Addison continues to be such a happy girl and is always smiling and laughing. She definitely has opinions now and will let you know it if you take something away from her that she wants or if she's bored (usually in the car). She is becoming quite the dare-devil and will try and climb things or over things or through things. She's become a little more clingly lately and is always hanging onto my legs when I'm cooking dinner in the kitchen. It is so fun to see her little personality developing and the funny facial expressions she makes. Happy 10 month birthday Addy Grace! We love you!

We had a fun weekend! My aunt, uncle and cousin were in L.A. for a basketball tournament and drove down on Saturday for the day. We went to Coronado and had a nice lunch and walked around the Hotel Del Coronado. Today we went to church and then after Addison's nap we went to the park for awhile. She stood up on her own for a few seconds, so walking might be just around the corner!

We have started taking Addison to Gymboree on Saturdays. She seems to enjoy it so far and likes playing with all the other little ones her age. It is also fun to have a place were she can crawl and go anywhere without getting into trouble!

I start back to work on Thursday (I am so sad!), so we are once again enjoying are time together. Last week we went to the zoo with friends, to Sea World and the aquarium with daddy, and to the park. Today we went to the beach with some friends and Addison had the best time ever! The sand was everywere from her hair, to her mouth to her toes! We had her 9 month check up afterwards, so she and I tried to shower off in the cold beach shower as best we could and then headed straight to the doctor. It was fun though!
