Christmas Cheer
Decorating the tree with lots of drool!
Picking out our tree!
We have the Christmas spirit around here! I have it especially, because as of Friday, I have 3 weeks vacation-yippee! Addison loves the Christmas decorations, the lights on the tree and any inflatable Christmas character that we see! She is so much fun this year at Christmas time! She has a Nativity scene in her room and loves to carry around Baby Jesus and say "BABY!!!!" Her favorite Christmas songs are "Away in a Manger" and "Jingle Bells." Our trip to visit Santa ended in tears, but she quickly recovered as soon as I picked her up. Every time we turn on our Christmas tree lights, Addison says "Wow!" and laughs! It is so cute!

14 Months
Addison turned 14 months yesterday! She is saying new words every day and imitating us a lot. It is fun to see her little mind work and amazing to see what she knows. The other day, she took a potholder out of the kitchen drawer, said "Hot, hot!" and pointed to the oven. Genius, I tell you! She is getting 4 teeth all at the same time right now, which has led to some hard nights and some crankiness. Not sure if it's the teeth or the age, but this week she has started throwing little tantrums with shrieking/loud squealing and has even thrown herself on the floor a couple of times! Overall though, she continues to be such a happy, smiley girl with so many laughs and kisses she just melts my heart! We love you Addison!
Addison loves to dance! (Please excuse my singing and the messy kitchen!)

Addison's new words
Addison has been talking up a storm lately! She imitates us a lot and has quite a few spontaneous words. Her articulation isn't the clearest, but hopefully with mommy as a Speech Therapist, that will improve!
p.s. Excuse the bed head and the drool!
"Help me." (which also sounds very similar to "upee" (up) and "opee" (open)

I wanted Addison to show me blowing kisses, which she does all the time to us and to any stranger she sees. Of course, she just wanted to say her new favorite word of the week!
