Right after we finished our Community Helpers theme, we went straight to Halloween. We didn't have as much time, but we had a lot of fun! Addison loves doing "art projects" so it's great! Last weekend, we went to a fun pumpkin patch called Bates Nut Farm. It was huge with so many activites! It was a little crowded, but we managed to do the horse and wagon ride, petting zoo and run around the pumpkin patch.

Last month and the beginning of this month, Addison and I learned about community helpers. I wasn't as creative with the food this time, but we did some fun crafts, read lots of good books and did some fun activities.

I'm in the Lord's Army

Addison loves singing this song. There's a lot of hard words in it though :)

Two Years Old!

Addison,

I can't believe that you are already 2! So far, 2 has been terrific! You are at such a fun age where you love to play, talk, sing, dance and have such a personality! You love doing art projects, playing with play dough, playing with your toys and dolls, and any time you hear music, you just start dancing! You have great language skills and speak in 3-4 word sentences mostly. We went for your check-up this week and you weigh 28 pounds (75th percentile) and are 36 inches (95th percentile). You are a tall girl!

You are quite the picky eater these days and you say "I don't like it!" a lot at meal times. We keep trying though! You have become quite attached to your blanket these days and like to take it out of your crib and pretend to go to sleep or put your babies to sleep. You love animals and will run up and pet any cat or dog you see! You love playing dress-up lately and love anything to do with Princesses!

There haven't been very many tantrums lately, and you are using your words a lot more to tell us when you are upset. You love reading books and will now sit and read books to yourself and to us. You are such a little helper and are always helping to clean up, throw things away and sweep!

We love you so much and are so glad to have been your parents for the past 2 years!

Happy 2nd Birthday!

We had a great birthday party yesterday! It was an ice cream theme and we had it at the park by our house. Everyone had a great time!
