We've had a fun-filled, busy week! We've gone on walks, went to the fair, went to the park and went on a 2 hour hike today! Addison has been such a trooper and so happy (at least during the daytime)! This has also been a busy week for Addison as well-she now has 2 bottom teeth (leading to some hard times with sleeping at night and some whining) and is pulling up on anything and everything! She is keeping her momma busy this summer and I couldn't be happier!

Happy Father's Day!
I am so blessed to have such a wonderful husband who is such a great father! Chris has been smitten with Addison from the moment he laid eyes on her! From going up to the NICU late night to feed her a bottle, to playing guitar for her every day, to taking her on "field trips," to making her laugh, he is the best daddy! It is amazing to see the love he has for his little girl and it makes me love him all the more! We love you Chris! Happy Father's Day!

Summer Vacation!!!
I think we are all happy to finally be on summer vacation! Daddy is teaching summer school until 1:00 every day, but we still get lots of family fun time!
Addison has learned to clap this past week and claps for herself all day long! We of course have to clap right along and say "Yea!"
Addison's favorite songs are "Old McDonald" and "Wheels on the Bus." The "Up and down" verse gets her every time! So cute!

8 Months
Can Addison really only be 4 months away from turning 1? I can't believe it! This past month has brought a lot of changes in Addison. She is now constantly on the go! Whether it is crawling, scooting, wiggling, standing, jumping, she's doing it! Addison is still a great eater and sleeper and has loved almost everything I've made for her. (I have made most of her baby food so far.) She's not a big fan of green beans or peas, but will tolerate them. She does not like avocados though, much to my dismay! We'll keep trying. Addison loves pears, apples, bananas, sweet potatoes, squash, peaches, and carrots. Her favorite books are: "Old McDonald" book, "Brown Bear" and "How big is Elmo?" Addison's favorite toys are: my cell phone, the TV remote, water bottles, and any cord or trash can she can get to! Addison is making lots of new sounds and developing such a sweet, funny personality. She still is a happy girl and is always laughing and smiling! Today was our last day of school, so I'm looking forward to spending 6 fun-filled weeks at home with her!
