My little sick baby

Sweet Addison has had a cold for the past couple of weeks and just hadn't been acting herself for a few days so I took her into the doctor yesterday. Poor baby has an ear infection and a pretty red throat. I stayed home with her yesterday and Chris stayed home with her today and I think she's on the road to recovery. She's much happier tonight and went to bed without problems (she had been crying when she went to bed and in the middle of the night for a few nights). Despite being a little under the weather, we still had fun hanging out together yesterday!

4 months old
Well, this is a little bit late since Addison turned 4 months on the 9th. She is getting to be such a big girl. She loves to laugh, smile and coo. She loves it when her daddy sings "Surfin' USA" and her mommy dances. She still loves her bath and to be read to. She doesn't like laying on her back and always wants to be sitting up. She loves putting everything in her mouth, but most of all her fists. She loves holding onto a rattle and shaking it. She loves hitting the toys on her baby gym and especially loves her starfish and bumblebees on the gym. She has become a little wiggle worm lately and is always trying to squirm her way out of her swing, bumbo seat or car seat! She has rolled over 5 times from her tummy to her back, but is not consistent with it yet. We had her 4 month check-up last week and she got her first round of shots-it was so hard for mommy and daddy to hear her cry! Here are her stats:
Weight: 13 lbs. 13 oz. (50th percentile)
Height: 24 inches (50th percentile)
Head circumference: 15 1/2 inches (5-10th percentile)

A Conversation With Addison
It's so fun to hear Addison's sweet voice. She was quite talkative tonight-I guess she had a lot to say about Valentine's Day! We love to see her little personality developing. She is so much fun to be around!

Laughter is the best medicine
Addison started laughing 2 weeks ago and it is the sweetest thing! I was getting sad because she laughed at her daddy, her babysitter, the babysitter's daughter, the kids at her daycare, but not me! I tried everything-singing, dancing, silly faces, to no avail! But tonight, she finally thought I was funny enough and we laughed for a long time! So sweet! Here is a little tiny bit of Addison laughing at her daddy-hopefully we'll get more on video soon!
