My little inchworm

I don't know how she does it, but lately when I go to wake Addison up in the morning she is all the way up at the head of her bed and sideways! Not sure how she does it when she's all swaddled, but I'd like to have a video camera in there to watch!

3 Months Old

Well, this is a little late, considering Addison is 14 weeks already, but better late than never! Addison is such a joy to be around! She is such a happy baby and always smiling! It seems like she just waits for you to smile at her just so she can smile back! She is cooing up a storm and her little voice just melts my heart. She loves her daddy's silly songs and dances. She also loves sitting up and standing with assistance. She's a great sleeper, which makes our life easier, and I hope she keeps it up! Such a big girl!

First week with babysitter

It's been a long day!

Well, we started with Addison's babysitter, Susan this week. The nice thing is she is 5 minutes from my work and I used to have her daughter in Speech. There are 5 kids in all: Addison, Aidan, Avery, Ava, and Cassidy-she has her mouthful with all her A names! It's been an interesting challenge trying to get ready, feed Addison, get her ready and out the door by 7:00 or 7:30 every morning! We've done pretty well these past 2 days-I hope we can keep it up! Addison hasn't napped that great so far, but hopefully she'll get in a better routine there. She still is happy when I pick her up and is sleeping through the night, so I can't complain!

This has been a really hard week. I had to go back to work on Monday after being off for 12 weeks with Addison. I have cried every day this week! Everyone says it will get better, and I know it will, I just miss her like crazy! My mom has been here this week, which has been nice to help with the transition. She will start at her babysitter next week. There are 4 other little ones there-two 1 year olds and two 2 years olds. Addison will have some good role models!
On a happier note, Addison has really changed so much in the past 2 week and is such a joy! (more when I do her 3 month post). Here is a video of her with her daddy. She loves him so much!

Well, I never thought that I would be a blogger, but I am definitely guilty of reading everyone else's blogs, so thought I might as well join in the fun! We were blessed with the birth of Addison Grace on 10/9/08 at 1:57 a.m. after 21 LONG hours of labor. She was 6 lbs. 1 oz and 19 inches long. She was also 4 1/2 weeks early! Addison had to stay in the NICU for 6 days (we missed her so much!) due to difficulty breathing when she was born and the jaundice. She is now doing great! Addison is such a sweet girl and her smiles just melt our hearts! We love her so much! It is hard to believe that she is already 12 weeks old! Time has flown by!
